I have this issue for more than a year and i have no idea what it could be.
The problem:
Since i bought this new SSD from Kingston the same SSD will randonly disapear from Windows Explorer, sometimes causing a BSOD with "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE".
Right after that happens, some times the windows will restart and the SSD wont show up (even in bios) and everything will work normaly (without the SSD).
Sometimes after the BSOD the windows will try to restart and be stuck at windows logo loading screen (right after bios screen) which the only solution is to remove the SSD and the system will start without a problem.
What i think/did:
Any thoughts? Thank you.
EDIT: typo

What i think/did:
- At first i thought it could be a virus or something, i did a clean Windows install and same thing would keep happening randomly.
- I thought it could be my PSU, but i'm able to run any game at 100% gpu and 100% CPU and everything works perfectly so i discarted the possibility of PSU problem.
- I thought it could be the SSD, so i RMA it to kingston which sent me a brand new one and you know... same thing keeps happening... so i don't think the SSD is the problem (unless i'm really unlucky and got a second SSD with the same problem)
- installed a few intell hardware management software that i saw from a few random topics with similar problems in the internet and no luck.
Any thoughts? Thank you.
