It's now on the Strategy First website, albeit with no description yet.
Anyone interested in the sequel?

It's interesting enough that if they were to substantially enrich the
game in some way, I'd be interested. My guess, though: more of the same.

I plan to get Disciples II Gold now that it's out and presumably
collects the various different versions of Disciples II. I hope
Disciples III doesn't do that.

Nah. They already did that with the Disciples II mini-standalones.

If you haven't purchased Disciples II, I'd recommend subscribing to
Totalgaming.net. It's $89 a year, which is a bit pricey, but you get a
swag of games, including Disciples II (+ expansions) as well as
Stardock's GalCiv and GalCiv II (when it comes out).

There's supposed to be a new game every month, although that doesn't
seem to be happening (or maybe I'm just losing count). Even still,
there's enough there at the moment to justify the price if you don't
already own the games.

I'm interested in Disciples III
I still mess around with Disciples II plus expansions.
Between Disciples II and Heroes of M&M 3 what more
do you need as far as fantasy turn based strategy game ? lol...
I really enjoyed all the Disciples games, it took awhile to figure out
how to play and win against the ai, but now I'm pretty good and
have played D2 several times through will all races. Very good game.

People like games where you run an empire like MOM, AOW, and Dominions.
So, throw Age of Wonders 2: Shadow Magic in the mix there also (well,
until MOM2 shows up).
