When i close Discord on my pc, both school laptop and my own desktop pc, the application closes, but when i open Task Manager i find it still running in the background and taking up CPU. Having to manually go into the task manager and click End Task every time i wanna close Discord is a bit of a nuisance, so is there any way i can fix this?

Solution
You can disable the Minimize (close) to Tray setting, to close Discord completely on exit.

If you go to Discord -> "User Settings"-> scroll down to "Windows Settings" -> disable "Minimize to Tray"

Screenshot

This should close Discord completely, instead of minimizing the app to the tray when clicking X to close the program

Windows 10 Pro and according to the info at the bottom of the user settings Discord 64bit installed but in Task Manager it shows 32bit running. I disabled "minimize to tray" the first week I had Discord in 2016 and with any OS change or fresh install it's one of the first things I do. Nevertheless, completely closing Discord I still end up with at least 2 instance of Discord 32bit showing and once I end task on those my CPU usage drops noticeably.
Earlier today I noticed my i9 9900KF was at nearly 30% when it's usually under 10% with Discord running, looked at Task Manager to see 6 or more instances of Discord 32bit running. I closed Discord but 4 of them persisted and the CPU usage barely dropped. I finally ended task on them and CPU dropped to under 5%. What gives?
