I currently am subscribed to Virgin Media broadband. I am confused because I can see my download speed is 4 mb/s for downloading overwatch via battle net. However, at the same time via the google 'speed test' I am getting >30mb/s. Is there an explanation for this?

Your ISP reports in megabits/sec
The game platforms report in megabytes/sec

8:1 ratio

4megabytes/sec = 32megabits sec

You are right on track, nothing is "wrong".
