Hey, I keep having my notebook on 100% disk usage all the time and it makes me working on it unbearable. I tried all the solutions I found throught forums bude none of them seems to fix it. I can post the screenshot of task manager, but the software using most of the disk keeps changing.
I would be very happy if anyone could help me with that, if you need any type of screenshot Im willing to post it here.

Thank you

Hi, as you know, Full disk usage can be caused by many reasons, if your PC goes into disk 100% as it has been overflown just because of some software, can you tell me what are the software occupying you much disk storage?
If possible, you can try to uninstall it completely from Windows 10 in control panel, or not, let me know the real case. maybe i can figure out some solutions for you as i have the same problem as you.
or you can try to check if there are some corrupted files by system file checker.

The software using most of my disk changes a lot, but most of the tie its System, Microsoft Compatibility Telemetry and other microsoft softwares. No idea what specifically could cause it since its changing so much and I dont really feel like clean rebooting the whole pc.

Maybe you can make some records in limited time to see if there is one or more programs occpuying you too much disk usage. Generally speaking, the rate for software disk usage is listed from more to less, so you should pay attention to the top ones in task manager.

Its always multiple programs, which does not use much of the disk, only like 2mb/s but its still on 100%, mostly its windows programs

i found one solution by slshgeek of tomshardware
Open up a run dialog by holding down the Windows Key and pressing R. In the "Open" field, enter "services.msc". Look for "Windows Search" and "Superfetch."

Go to each of these entries. Right click on one and select "Properties." In the dropdown box labeled "Startup type," choose Disabled. After leaving the properties window, press "Stop" in the upper left corner. Do this for both.
Try it maybe it will solve it
If it solves it then thank slashgeek . :)

I have Windows search disabled long time ago and superfetch isnt even in the services. I have no idea how to fix this one.
