Hello
First of all, i couldn't find any category concerned with computer problems so I am writing it here.

Sometimes when I turn my computer on and then log on into my windows account, the resolution drops from my current 1900x1200 to 1680x1050 and all of my desktop icons are moved to the left side of the screen. This haven't been happening before, until few days ago. Not sure if it is my graphic driver or some sort of virus, I've ran ad-aware and still the problem occurs.

My computer specifications are:

XFX nvidia 790i ultra mobo
xfx geforce gtx 280
2.6 ghz Intel core 2 quad
4 ghz RAM

my monitor is the:

any help is appreciated
thanks in advance :)

This is my gaming PC, all I do is play games nothing else. Havent been messing with any configuration.

Nope, I dont have VGA card only SLI (GTX 280).
I've never had this problem when I first build my computer, everything went smooth. Then this problem occured about once per week, the resolution change and all the icons were organized on the left side of the display. Now it happens everytime I turn on my computer.

Yes, everything is up to date, even my windows.

Nope, that options still remains unchecked.
