Hi guys, just built a new pc 2 months ago and now I’m facing an absolute nightmare. Sometimes when gaming my PC would just randomly crash. Basically I lose the signal on both monitors but the LED on my pc are still running and sometimes I can hear my fan go full throttle. I have a brand new GPU a MSI 4070ti suprim. I already RMA the GPU due to the same issue but little difference was that my pc would crash and the screen freeze with a lots a graphical artifact on it now I would just lose signal. The history of the RMA show that they received my GPU at 9:30 am and sent it back to me at 2 pm so I really really suspect them that did absolutely nothing. On my last crash the LED VRAM turned on on my mobo
Also I use a software « whocrashed » and sometime they say that it’s bsod DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION.
I removed all the drivers I have updated the BIOS I checked all the cables
I really don’t know what to do. Does changing my gpu would solve my problem ?
Specs:
Mobo: Aorus z690
CPU: intel 13600k
GPU: 4070ti suprim
PSU: Cooler Master MWE 750 Gold V2

#1 Buy proper, good quality PSU.
Either Seasonic Focus/PRIME or Corsair RMe/RMi/RMx/HX/HXi/AX/AXi.

Now, new PSU may not fix your issue, but it won't make things any worse. Also, new PSU will not damage your hardware any further, which your cheap PSU might have already done.

But if your cheap PSU has already damaged your hardware (which is quite likely) then you're looking into hardware replacement as well. But before that;
#2 Format your OS drive and make a clean Win install.

This will get rid of all software issues there might be.

If clean Win install doesn't help, time to look towards hardware replacement. Possible culprits: MoBo, RAM. And maybe CPU too (little chance).
Still, new PSU is a must.
