Display port adapter

I have a new 144hz monitor the benqxl 2411 and i bought a displayport cable but cant find an adapter to dvi ot hdmi. Im thinking about buying a different cable, but if someone could helpbme find an adapter preferably on amazon that would be great but i cant find one. Thanks in advance ☺

You can't get 144 Hz through a standard adapter. You need a DVI port on your computer, or a specialized DP to DL-DVI active adapter which are extremely expensive and tend to be unreliable.

If you don't have a DVI port on your computer, return the monitor and get one that has a DisplayPort input port.
