Hello iv'e recently switched from a AOC 24" 144Hz 1080p monitor to a Minifire 24" 1440p 180Hz monitor.

After turning on the new monitor and connecting it VIA DP it shows no signal and turns off, If i connect it with HDMI there is no problem. The main problem im facing is that the HDMI supports up to 144Hz and i would like to use everything that i paid for. I was running the previous monitor with the same DP cable as this one and it was working as it should. Since then i have not changed anything in my pc's hardware.

So far iv'e tried:
Using different DP cables.
Using different ports
even using another minifire monitor (Same model)
Disconnecting the monitor from the power source
Disabling HDCP

PC Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5800x3d
GPU:Rx6700XT
RAM:32GB patriot 3200Mhz
PSU: Thermaltake 700W

My suspicion is that there is something either in the OS or the AMD software interfering with some settings.

Thank you.

Do you still have the aoc monitor? Confirm DP still works?

If aoc monitor + DP cable does still work, it's not your computer. Have a look at the DP input of the Minifire monitor and just check the DP plug housing, the plastic part for both DP cables since you've tried multiple, isn't touching anything on the monitor. DP plug can sometimes feel like it's locking in with it's two latches but connection may not be completed.

This recent thread was regarding his case interfering with DP ports of his graphics card. I know your DP ports work so obviously case isn't the problem, just showing you that at least with them, the DP plug seemed secure but wasn't. If there's a clear gap with Minifire monitor and DP connection I'd have no idea at that point.

Hello, i have just confirmed the DP works on the AOC monitor.
You mentioned the minifire monitors DP plug housing, and it was quite sketchy from the beginning.
As you can see in the pictures: View: https://imgur.com/a/5RMvlop

The HDMI seems to sit more snug than the DP cable but ive pushed the dp cable as far as it pysically goes.
