I have a problem with my pc....

In Power Options , i have set my Display to turn off after 3 minutes of inactivity , which it did.... but at random interval, it will turn itself back on... without touching mouse and keyboard.... which is strange...

Windows is set to ' Never ' in Power Options.

anyone know what causes this?

I have disabled the Network card and Intel 1219-V's power option to never wake up my pc... only devices that can wake is only Mouse and Keyboard.

WakeTimers in Power Options's advanced settings is disabled too.

using command prompt (administrator) with command ' powercfg -lastwake ' shows nothing .. it shows ' wake History Count - 0 '

Anyone can help? Googling around is somewhat different than mine.

Yes, previously, the motherboad and devices ( mouse and keyboard ) is already installed. I periodically check for newest driver for the motherboard, for the Graphic card, for the TP-Link T9E Wifi card.

Everything is up to date ... from Windows version, window's update, drivers.

So, anyone encounter the same issue?

i've been updating everything from Windows, drivers , bios, display, chipset, audio, lan, wifi, mouse, keyboard, intel RST, sata , just about everything, and it's still giving the same random awake.

Windows is updated to the very latest you can find. Every security update is installed for the ' Windows Update ' can find from Microsoft.

Or this is a well known bug from Microsoft ?

anther thing you could try;
remove the USB hub/dongle and try with mouse & keyboard plugged directly in the motherboard USB ports. the hub could be randomly trying to determine if it has devices attached and sending signals.

if this has no effect, try unplugging both mouse and keyboard completely. can determine if it is one of these devices themselves causing it.

Both G603 and G613 are connected directly to Motherboard's rear USB 2.0 Port.

Do you mean to use an wired USB mouse and keyboard?

I only have two USB devices connected, only mouse and keyboard via USB dongle.

are they both wireless?
if so; try just unplugging the wireless dongle(s) and see if the issue still arises while it is disconnected. the wireless transmitter can also send/receive intermittent signals to check the status of devices.

Yea, they are both wireless....

is it normal for receiving signals can wake a display or the dongle is faulty? but the mouse and keyboard behaved normally during using.

whether it is "supposed" to wake your system/display, you would have to investigate to know for sure exactly how it works.
...or the dongle is faulty?
you haven't stated if it fixed the issue. how would we presume to know?

https://www.tenforums.com/graphic-c...nstantly-wakes-up-when-display-turns-off.html

Above link's user situation is somewhat similiar to mine. but not every 5-10 minutes, it only do it once. Eg. it goes to sleep after X minute, and X minutes later , it wakes up for 10 to 20 seconds or so, and then realize it's supposed to be asleep and then go back to sleep and never wake up after time unless i move a mouse , tap a key.

Do anyone know how to read a ETL file?

I tried to read, but no idea what it is.

Attached here is the file... http://www.mediafire.com/file/yygrc7qxes744to/energy-trace.etl/file
