Good morning, mates;

I know there's a lot of questions like this on the internet (specifically here), but I haven't been able to find one like mine. My rig is:

Mobo: Gigabyte B75M-D3H
CPU: I7 3770k
GPU: GTX 970
Display: ACER Predator XB1271HK

So, as lot of people over here, I'm getting a really bad headache trying to connect my graphics card through DP to my monitor. I always have the "No signal" message. However, when I plug the HDMI again, I can see that W10 detects the DP screen... But without signal. Dumb.

Things which I've tried for now:

1. Upgrade GPU BIOS. Got the latest one.
2. Upgrade Mobo BIOS. Got the latest one.
3. Put my DP 1.2 cable onto another PC. Works fine.
4. Tried my monitor onto another PC through DP. The connection works fine.
5. Tried to force BIOS to run on DP. No signal.
6. Put W10 USB bootable to check if it runs though DP. Nothing.

So... I think my GPU's DP port is dead, but I'm not really sure, because the monitor's been detected all the entire time. I'm starting to get no more ideas, and I don't have any other mobo/GPU for testing.

Any idea will be welcome... Thanks in advance!

Dead DP port sounds plausible based on your troubleshooting.

Is your GTX970 Warranty still good?

Update:
I'm confused.
1) Does both DP and HDMI inputs not work?

I know it's only 24Hz via HDMI, however I just wanted to know if that works or not. You can also try both the video card and the onboard HDMI (which would use the iGPU instead).

2) What were you using before, DVI?

3) Did you try to manually change the VIDEO INPUT on the monitor itself?

Step by step.

+I still have the second year of warranty. I got the card on August 2015.

1) HDMI works perfect, even at 4k30hz. Which doesn't work is DP.

2) I've been using DVI on both monitors (one ASUS, the another an old one which just got VGA).

3) I've already tried everything through monitor's control panel.

Thanks for your answer!

More news.

A friend of mine and myself were testing yesterdad the DP port. The control panel detects it, but there's no signal. So, I think the GPU's DP port is broken. I'll have to try RMA's shop, I guess.

Could it be because of some MOBO's issue?
