Divx 10

My question on Divx 10 is this. When it comes out, will modern cards be able to run them, with something sort of like a bios update? I am leaning against this, but I ask the question nontheless. If the most recent cards cannot be updated, then does anyone have an idea when Divx 10 cards will come out?
