Hi All
Looking to build a inexpensive box to hold me over while the one I have crashes.

I am not familiar with AMD, How does this compare to Intel HD 3000.
asking, because Intel HD 3000 would be equivalent to the desktop I have.

The new AMD trinity APU is supposed to be nery good and competitive with the Intel. If your on a tight budget then the computer that you listed is very inexpensive and should work well for you. Going with Intel will make it cost more.

an hd 3000 igpu is similar to about a AMD HD 6450 in performance. A trinity IGPU sits around an AMD HD 5570 in performance and if you used the TH tier list, is about 10 tiers above the HD 3000 in graphics performance wise.
