Do all Ryzen CPU's Use The Same Slot?

All ryzen CPUs use the AM4 socket yes.

If you're going to "strip and revamp", why are you buying parts twice?
If you can revamp, you can build it yourself.

Probably best to build. If your revamp CPU is much more power hungry than the original, it could stress the already bad OEM power supply, along with the new graphics card you'll probably want
