Hi,

I have X99 board wich have enough space of PCIe 3.0 x16 and CPU lanes.

Does ASUS Hyper M.2 X16 CARD V2 or ASUS Hyper M.2 X16 CARD supports RAID 0 even I've don't have x299 VROC or X399 boards?

Solution
Is your goal simply to hit a high benchmark? Because unless you have serious needs above the average consumer, that's about all your real-world gain will be. Except for the ability to lose all your data quickly, which doesn't strike me as a gain.

That info would be listed in the specs for that card:

------------------------------------
RAID function Support:
Intel® VROC ready for X299, Z370 and Z390 Series Motherboard models. (It supports Intel® SSDs only.)
AMD® X399/X470/B450/X370/B350 Series Motherboard models*

* Maximum number of M.2 SSD support will vary, depending on different CPUs. Please see the FAQ link for further information:
https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1037507
------------------------------------

The real question is....why RAID 0 with 2x NVMe drives?

Because the intel 660P 2TB M.2 is 3x faster than a 2.5"SSD with almost same price or cheaper.
rather than using M.2 NVME as my OS with a slow 2.5"SSD/3.5"HDD as my media storage I prefer to use that kind of expansion raiding 4 of it to get 8TB w/ 6GB/s RW.

I've watched some YT reviews, some said that it supports RAID-0 unless using new mobo like x299/x399 to acquire other level of RAIDs.

I only want to ensure if that expansion card can let me RAID-0 4*intel 660P 2TB NVMEs on my X99 mobo.

Similar question. Planning on using ASUS Hyper M2. x16 V2 with 4x Intel 660p 2TB NVMe SSDs in RAID 0 to make a Gaming Storage. Will be using either X470 or X570 Mobo.

Don’t bother. As mentioned above you won’t see any difference in gaming
