Question Do beta BIOS revisions cause instability?

I was using the beta bios with 3rd gen support on my motherboard, but programs kept crashing. I flashed the last alpha version and the issues went away.
Motherboard- MSI B350 Gaming Plus.

I think that updating the BIOS is risky enough without the added risk of a Beta BIOS.

I think that a Beta BIOS would be riskier than a non-Beta BIOS.

They are BETA because they haven't completed testing and internal certifications for release. It may be a formality, but there can still be big issues lurking in them. Probably better than ALPHA releases though.

They may be looking for input from the community and that's why they're made available as a BETA for those who like the challenge. Do you have a means to provide feedback?
