Sometimes my ports go out like I’ll be playing Fortnite or whatever and my mouse or keyboard will stop working and when I plug it into a new port it’s good but that’s port stays dead until I restart the pc is that a bad mobo or something else?

What kind of pc and how long have you had it? Did it happen after a Windows update? It could be a driver issue for your USB hub. It might be worth going to the manufacturer site and downloading their recommended drivers, and possibly the latest BIOS version.
