Do I have to uninstall old GPU drivers? Will not be upgrading to new GPU for some weeks.

Alright, I haven't found this exact question so I must ask it myself, I HAVE A GTX 980Ti installed right now, I just sold it on Ebay (SO I MUST UNINSTALL IT RIGHT NOW AND PACKAGE IT UP) and would like to know if I must uninstall the Drivers (And which ones if I must) I WILL NOT be upgrading to my new GTX1080 from anywhere between 2 - 5 weeks from now... (All questions I've found relating to this type of question always have the asker saying something like "I'm upgrading to a new GPU, I have it right here in hand, must I uninstall current, old GPU & it's drivers?" basically... lol. So do I still have to uninstall my current GPU's drivers? If I remember correctly I think all I did last time when upgrading from a GTX760 to my 980Ti was follow these instructions from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmmizuRJGvI all he does is say to uninstall some Drivers in the Control Panel (IN A CERTAIN ORDER) buuuuuut like I said... This time, I AM NOT going to be upgrading to my new GPU until WEEKS from now. So.... Is following these steps in that video again still valid? Doubt someone will reply with a good answer fast enough so I'll just go ahead and do what I think needs to be done, will leave this here for future people who come across this same problem, by then there should be some answers. It isn't mandatory to uninstall the old gfx drivers. And you can always do it later when your new card is in. Uninstalling the old driver is just "cleaner". And can eliminate possible registry errors. You can also use DDU from safe mode when you get the new card physically installed. Just have it installed on your PC and when you boot up with the new card, boot to safe mode. Then run it.
