[SOLVED] Do I have to worry about my motherboard not having the correct bios before install my cpu?

I'm building my first PC and for my first build Im going to go with an AsrockPhantom Gaming B550 PG VELOCITA and an amd 5600g , in order for the motherboard to work with the cpu I need to update but the board doesnt have bios flash so I cant update it before I install the cpu, do I have to worry about it not booting up?

The computer won't boot without the proper BIOS for the CPU.

Considering how long Zen 3 chips have been out, you may get lucky and the motherboard may have been shipped with a compatible BIOS.

Have you checked the manufacturers website support page to check on the CPU compatibility?

It will list the required BIOS versions. Something to do before purchase, not after.
