do i need a amp or dac

i want to buy new headphones sennheiser hd598 but i dont know if i need a dac or amp i have a good motherboard the msi z170a gaming pro it has audio boost 3 but is it really good enough?

The 598s are 50ohms. They dont require an amp, however I feel my hd558s sound better and more full with my amp not sure if its just a placebo or not. You should have just asked this on your other thread no need to make a new thread for every question you have.
