i'm currently upgrading my pc into a new case (h9 flow) and i'm getting a new motherboard, turns out that my motherboard has these fan headers:

Cooling Fan Support1 x CPU fan header
1 x Pump fan header
5 x System fan headers
Other Connectors1 x M.2 slot, Type 2242/2260/2280/22110 (PCIe Gen4)
1 x M.2 slot, Type 2242/2260/2280 (PCIe Gen4 or SATA)
2 x 3-pin ARGB LED header
1 x 4-pin RGB LED header

i'm planning on getting 6x side fans (3 on one side, 3 down), 1x exhaust fan and an aio with 3 fans, they're all with rgb

how do i manage all that? do i need a fan connector, splitter or a hub? maybe i should get a different motherboard? (i7 13700f, ddr4)

If this were me, I'd ditch the side and rear exhaust fans. Having three on the bottom and three on the top creates a nice linear (as possible anyway) airflow. The other fans will contribute nothing worth buying extra fans for (if I'm reading the H9's product literature correctly, it comes with 4 fans).

However, I'd also tie the bottom fans together with a hub and the top ones with another hub since they should be controlled as a group. The fans may come with a pigtail to daisy chain them together, so I'd also wait to see if that's the case before buying a hub.

Here's what I used to do on the system I built I would take off the side cover and about once every few days I would unplug the power cord get a paper towel or a can of compressed air and wipe it away or blow it away

i know, but i don't like those fans + they're not rgb. i'm going with a hub in the end
