Do i need a graphics card for my AMD Athlon X4 860K to run properly?

I am planning on building my first pc and i was wondering if my AMD Athlon X4 860K needs a graphics card to run. I know that it doesn't have integrated graphics but does that mean that it won't run without a graphics card?

For this you will need an additional graphics cards. Depending on what you use your PC for, you might want to opt for an AMD APU, which comes with an ok graphics card built it, but you will need a different motherboard. For gaming you will want a more expensive, higher performance card.

Yes because the AMD Athlon X4 860K does not have integrated graphics like Intel pentium, i3, i5, i7 series or AMD A4, A6, A8, A10 series. If u buy a processor with integrated graphics like AMD A4, A6, A8, A10 series or Intel pentium, i3, i5, i7 series, then you don't need a graphics card but if you want to play games, then the integrated graphics aren't the best.

i have an A8-7600 in mt ASUS a88x-plus mobo which is the same cpu but with an added 6 gpu cores that run in my pc without a graphics card.i like it so far but when i bump it up in my bios in the AI tweaker to 3.5 it periodically freezez up so i just stay at stock until i understand why it is doing that.1920x1080p smart tv for a monitor also.
