Do I need a vertical power plug adapter for an MSI RTX 4090 gaming x slim?

Is this an absolute must in order to avoid any potential fire hazard?

Which one would you recommend?

I am also using a thermaltake toughpower 1350W ATX 3.0 PCIe 5.0 16 pin connector and an ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-A Gaming Wifi motherboard.

Depends on how much room you have in your chassis if the cable will get bent too much.

Probably don't need a 1350W PSU either. 1000W is plenty unless you have an awful lot of other hardware in there.
