do i need chipset fan?

hi. I would like to know if I chipset cooling does play important part in overclocking process?

in a nut shell: do I really need it or should I bother at all?

u should be fine without a fanif there is an adequate cooler on the NB.

if it gets super crazy hot like the 680I chip set then i would say it would help with your system stability

IR thermometer or else?

well mine gets so hot i cant hold my finger on the sink for more then 2 seconds or eles ill lose a bit of my finger print...
if your heat sink does not get that hot then dont worry
