[SOLVED] Do I need to buy a 7.1 soundcard?

So I am buying a new pc and it built with a 5.1 soundcard, I am using a Razer Kraken, and planning to buy a hyperX Cloud II, which both are 7.1 headphones. Do in need to upgrade the soundcard in the new pc to a 7.1 one, or the headphones don't use the pc soundcard.

These headphones are USB-connected, and do not use sound card from your PC.
