Solution
I have a CX550m(2015) and it hasnt given me any trouble. Most other PSUs at that budget are low quality, but this one isnt.

The CX550 offers decent efficiency, 550w, pretty quiet operation, and is all around a great cpu for the money

The quality is the same, and the warranty is the same. Both are good for their price range, so you may want to pick the better-looking unit for your system, seeing as they’re about the same price.

What would I do? I would get the CORSAIR because I have always used their PSU’s without failure. I have never owned a SEASONIC, however.

The Corsair CX is better in electrically performance, build quality, and protections.

Though the S12iii's aren't too bad. Definitely a huge improvement from the S12iii.

well.. I am buying cx550 and the price is incresed and now for corsair 550watt psu i have to pay $71.89 USD

SO should I buy seasonic for $52 USD or maybe recommand me another psu??

You only need a 400w PSU. The cooler master masterwatt bronze I'd alright, the be Quiet Pure Power 10 is good. But in the US market the Corsair CX should be priced lower than $72...

Corsair does not manufacture any PSUs of its own, they are all OEM rebrands. Many of Corsair's best PSUs are made by Seasonic. Seasonic has very few PSU models rated worse than "good" while around half of Corsair's entire lineup is rebranded Channelwell crap. (Channelwell has a few good model but is mainly known for crap in the consumer space.)

Yes, it's true the S12iii are outsourced to RSY, as are many other "Seasonic" or "Superflower" PSU. Because Seasonic and Superflower are relatively small factories with limited resources.
But no can judge a PSU just by OEM... That's almost as ignorant judging off brand.
In fact, in insider's terms CWT is regarded at or near Tier 1 as opposed to Seasonic due to how much less they outsource parts.

Theres only one decent review of the S12iii. Unfortunately the ripple is on the mediocre side and it still has lacking protections

These are my PC specs : Intel i5-3470
:10 GB ddr3 ram
:500GB WD HARD DISK
:RX 570 4GB

I seriously need a new power supply , I need to know how many watts power supply do i need ??
I think I wont do any further upgrades and just buy a SSD
So how many watts power supply i need?

So, which one 450W or 550W?

Depends on what the power characteristics are, really.

Can you list the specific models you're eyeing to get?

On a first glance, either will do, but it also depends on what the 12v rails can deliver, if they're good or bad brands, etc...

Cheers!

When it comes to PSU the higher the better, efficiency too, silver/gold is recommended, but for those efficiency rating you might want to go for a higher W one, so a bronze will do... although you should never go cheap on those, of course it depends on how much you can afford.

now lets assume both of the 450 and 500W are of a good brand, both will work for your specs there, but if the difference is minimal, then always prefer the higher one...

Obviously YES....Don't use that PSU. It's a local branded low-end generic PSU. You need to buy a HIGH quality and a reputed PSU brand and model.

What's your budget, and where do you live ? There are quite a few HIGH quality decent PSUs which I can recommend. Check the following links, and see whether you can grab one of these similar models.

Hey! Can I buy Cool Master 550w MWE PSU with 5 year warranty? :https://ibb.co/V2nJvDv

I can't find information about the power delivery details of the Corsair PSU. That's a REALLY big omission on their part that I do not like.

The CM is a single rail with 43A in the 12V, so it's more than capable to handle a lot of stuff you want to cram into the PC and being a single rail, for better or for worse, it won't have any issues with power deliver to components because you chose the wrong rail. Both are 80+ Bronze, so they should behave more or less similar. As for components, both are rather low-end-ish, so I wouldn't put my hands on fire for either in terms of reliability.

IMO, if you can pay for it, get the CM MWE 550W.

Cheers!
