ok, i think I discovered what the problem was. Let ask, can a case be a piece of garbage and cause computer problems? The reason I ask is I went and bought a brand new system, decided to just take out the stuff and just switch it to the tower I bought so I wouldn't have to throw the tower out.

I flipped the power switch on the back of the case, all the lights came on(this should not happen until I push the front power button), but the CPU fan would not run. Could the case have been the problem all the time?

ok guys, my brother just informed me of something and I want your opinions. He said the reason I might be having all these problems with my system build is...(drum roll).......my carpets! He says the static eletricity from my carpet is damaging the motherboards, since I have carpeting in every room, I have no choice but to walk on it, maybe I found the culprit and it was under my feet all the time....lol. Anyone else ever have this problem?
