Do laptop CPUs have a IHS

My question is basically the thread title. I have a MSI gt73vr 1070sli. it has great cooling and was going to put some conductonaught liquid metal on it to get even better temps so i can have the fans quieter and was wondering if it has a IHS. Im 99% sure it doesn't have one but i figured i should ask. Its a i7 6820HK

And i know liquid metal thermal paste is dangerous cause it can short the cpu and stuff I'm going to test it on my donor desktop for practice to get comfortable with doing it.

No they do not have an IHS, but typically have some sort of copper heat pipe cooling system in which liquid metal can be applied to replace the stock TIM.
