Do not have Windows install disk. Is there a way to create one just to be able to format C: drive

Trying to get rid of an old laptop. Have run ccleaner to remove most of the junk. Now want to format the drive so nothing is left on it of value. The original install disk is long gone. Is there a way to create one?

I think he wants to put an os back on it. If you know what os you have and still have the sticker with cd key for it then you can download the iso image from Microsoft and reinstall it that way. Or if you know someone that has a retail/oem disc of the same OS that you have you can use that disc to reinstall the OS using your cd key.
