I upgraded from a NVIDIA GTX 660 to an MSI GTX 970 Gaming Edition and I wasn't sure whether I can still use Geforce Experience and the drivers with it so I removed it and just installed the MSI drivers from the included DVD and then the ones from the website which are from September. I really liked how Geforce Experience kept everything up to date and alerted me when new drivers were released.
The MSI drivers look like they aren't updated often and I don't want to visit the MSI website to check on them. So the confusion comes in with the name, it's a GTX 970, so I'm thinking that the NVIDIA Geforce drivers might work with it. Am I wrong?
If not is there a program from MSI that's similar to Geforce Experience? I'm starting to worry that MSI drivers won't release often enough, I just downloaded Ground Zeroes and it fluctuates between 45-60 fps (on a 970? Really? Even Metro runs perfectly on ultra) on highest settings at 1080 but this kind of thing is something that is usually fixed by new drivers and again MSI don't look like they update enough.
Thanks!
