Not long ago i bought a i5-4590. When i installed it, it booted up and worked fine on integrated graphics until you try to load a game. At first i though it was a software problem. After some digging it turns out to be a broken motherboard pin, but it still booted normally. So i decided to put it under a stress test and when put under a CPU stress test it work fine, but when put under a GPU stress test for integrated graphics it would crash. So i was wondering if there is such a thing as integrated graphics power pin. Since i'm on a thigh budget do i need to buy a new motherboard or i can just buy a dedicated GPU to avoid this problem (Not to put the integrated graphics under stress, since the CPU doesn't crash).

Motherboard : Asrock h81m-vg4
CPU: i5-4590 ( running on Intel HD 4600 integrated graphics)

Thanks, Inforcee

Solution
Check your CPU socket for bent/broken pins. It's possible one of them may be required for proper iGPU functioning. I don't know if installing a discrete graphics card will resolve the issue.
