Hi, i am stuck between a few cases. Im planning to get a b450 tomohawk max motherboard for a new pc im building. I have read that the corsair spec delta case's RGB fan's wont work alongside the motherboard

On pcpartpicker, it says it is compatible without any possible errors but i thought id come to the forum to ask.

Also, if that case and the mobo doesnt work together, will this case work alongside my motherboard? It says that it is a e-atx case but the motherboard is atx so i didnt know if they would still work together.

yes both are fine.

heres how to tell in the future. look at a picture of the motherboard and count the total slots on it.

this one has six, 2 x full sized and 4 smaller PCIe slots. each of those cases has 7 expansion slots.
this is the carbides rear

as long as the expansion slots on the case are higher than the board, it'll fit.
a board with 4 slots would fit in those cases.

case sizes are governed by the spec
EATX 7 slots but the case allows for a wider motherboard (dual socket workstations are often EATX) and the case is much deeper than an ATX - will fit smaller boards.
ATX 7 slots will hold smaller boards
mATX 4 slots will hold smaller boards
mITX 1 slot
