[SOLVED] Do we need a Capture Card with 1660 Ti or 2060 Super to stream?

Hi Friends,

I am planning (Still planning as more research going on) to buy a 1660 Ti or RTX 2060 to play, learn stream and finally stream games. While still thinking which card should I buy to play most of the games at 60FPS (That is what I read till now to be good), I am wondering do I also need a capture card? If yes then which company

I plan to learn streaming by editing & uploading in a Youtube channel as Gaming always has been a passion, but till now only played in game parlors so thought to get a decent one at home. Might buy a PS5 after 6 months but still wondering for PC do I need to buy a capture card?

Saw there is a button of share in PS4 but don't think it would allow me editing, putting logos etc there before I could share

If you plan to stream and game off the same system, you might be able to get away with the discrete GPU you've listed above but in terms of CPU, you will need at the very least a RyZen 7 processor or an i7 equivalent.

Mind sharing the specs of your current system?

If you are using OBS, you can use NVENC, from your GPU, to stream. I would do the 2060s, for gaming and streaming.

Yes, as of now the budget is for single PC. Not sure, how the streaming works from 2 PCs. Any link that explains the same?

I would just go with a 3700x, if not willing to wait for 4th gen. The 3800x is not worth the added cost. Motherboard, I would go with a Gigabyte B550 Elite. You really do not need 64gb of ram either. 32gb should be plenty. With as much saving as you would be getting, you might be able to have enough to get a 3070 at the end of the month, or maybe even a 3080. What is the actual budget anyway?

I am not sure when the 4th Gen would be available in market after the launch on 8th Oct.

Is it better than X570 Aorus Pro or Ultra? So many products and hence too much confusion. RAM is for virtual machines as this would be the primary purpose of the PC

Curious about the 64GB of memory. Most Ive loaded my system with is near 32GB editing and gaming/streaming wont do that. Save some cash and get 32GB.
