I don’t think that will be a problem since both are am3+I'd be worried about your motherboard not supporting it.
Many of the low end motherboards had issues with overheating VRM’s when running 125w CPU’s.I don’t think that will be a problem since both are am3+

No idea what motherboard that is but looks to be a basic 4 phase design with no heatsink on the VRM’s. I would not be surprised if it did have issues with a 125w cpu.This is the current motherboard i have
