I'm stumped. Everything seems to boot up just fine but I get no graphics My PC has worked just fine for a few months. Although the airflow in my case sucks. So I'm thinking maybe the board burned out? I don't know. Everything else seems to work just fine. I use remote utilities and even though I don't get any display when I boot it up and plug in the ethernet, remote utilities shows it online. How can I troubleshoot this with no display? Definitely not the Monitor. I've tried a couple different ones that I use everyday. It has to be either graphics on the board or processor is my guess. What do you guys think?

ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 Micro ATX AM4
AMD Ryzen 5 2400G 3.6 GHz Quad-Core
Silicon Power GAMING 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200
Kingston NV2 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME SSD
Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 500 W ATX PSU

Thank you!!

That PSU is more of an expensive paperweight.

Although the airflow in my case sucks.
This is where you state the make and model of your case.

If you're able to get into your platform then you should be able to identify the BIOS version that's on your motherboard, although your motherboard support site says;
https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450M-HDV R4.0/index.asp#CPU
all BIOS versions will allow you to work with the 2400G.

You can drop the APU onto another, known working, motherboard with the right BIOS version and see if the issue persists.

So could it be that the PSU just no longer has enough power?

I'm sorry I don't have the case info. Edit - It's very old. It's an Apevia X Cruiser It Only has 2 tiny fans. One on top and one in the back. I'll definitely be getting a new case once I get this figured out. Nothing's in the case anymore anyway. lol.

I can only see that it's online with remote utilities I can't actually get into the platform. I "think" it's not letting me in because it's in a different location than when I installed remote utilities so different IP address. But it does show me the little preview of the desktop so it's seeing the OS. When I plug in ethernet it says online. I unplug it, it says offline.

I guess at this point I'm just gonna have to buy another board and drop the APU onto that and see if it works.

I'm also wondering if it could be some crazy virus because on the little preview there's a McAfee icon on the desktop. I did not install McAfee.

This is what I get when I view it through remote utilities from my other PC. That's how I know it's booting up.

I just can't actually get into it to do anything.

I had a case similar to that, back in 2003, modded it to add a 120mm at the front as intake.

If you're going to buy parts to troubleshoot, you're going to end up with an empty wallet and a secondary computer this is why I'd suggest that you borrow, not buy, from a friend or neighbor.

This is in your sig space;

Windows 11, AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, Noctua NH-D15S 82.52 CFM CPU Cooler
Gigabyte X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard
Corsair Dominator Platinum 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 CL15 Memory
NVidia GeForce GTX 1070

You have a board that can accept the 2400G in order for you to troubleshoot.
