Question Do you think that this 12vhpwr cable is fully plugged?

Hi, I just bought be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 1000W PSU which comes with its own direct 12vhpwr cable, I also got Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER Windforce V2 16GB. I tried to plug it as hard as i could, this cable doesn't make a click sound when properly plugged and now I'm not sure if it's ok or not. Little holes on the top of the plug should be covered by connector? Some pictures of it:

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

From the looks of it, it doesn't look fully seated. Can you take pics of the other side of the connector in this state? Might want to take the GPU off the slot and inspect the connector while that harness is plugged into the GPU.

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. I switched the PSU plug with the GPU one and somehow managed to slide it in correctly, so there are no gaps. I think that be quiet! cheaped out on the plugs, as it was hard to plug them into the motherboard and exceptionally hard to plug into the GPU, especially at that angle.
