Hello,
i am having a configuration of 80gb hard disk with 2 gb ram and my processor is intel core 2 duo processor so i want change it to 500 gb will it supports me..
yes parveen,
no matter what your cpu may be,
as far as you motherboard has a sata port, if not then you can buy a sata pci card which will fit in the pci slot.. and volla you can use a 500 gb hdd
the days of will my hdd work are long gone m8. not since windows 98 has there been any major hdd compatibility issues.
just make sure your get the rite socket fitting.
your board will probably support ide and sata/sataII, if so buy a sata drive.
ide 1s are more expensive and can conflict with other ide devices on the same lead.
