Question Does anybody know what causes the Red gradient damage on the LCD?

I just wanted to know if this is repairable
Only repair would be panel replacement, given there is spare panel for that tablet. Cheaper and easier would be buying new tablet.

Increasing display's gamma level may remedy it a bit but it won't fix the issue. It just makes it less visible.

and what is causing the issue
What you have, looks like LCD burn.

Backlight bleed.
Isn't backlight bleed usually white (gray)? Rather than red? 🤔

I think it's not LCD burn, as I don't see any image that leaves a trace on the display. This is how it looks while working white brighter images https://ibb.co/yQ3TzfS

but can't be sure about too much moisture or temperature, as both conditions were present.
Temperature alone won't cook it, since hardware can sustain far higher temperature than you can.
But moisture can kill hardware and that - easily.

If you want to get to the bottom of why the panel died, you can take your tablet to electronics repair shop and pay for diagnostics. The tech there can tell you why it developed this kind of fault (e.g either manufacturing error or due to environment).

You may be right; I should take it to a repair guy. Thank you, and Happy New Year!
