Does anyone live and die for NWN?

I have played 30+ quality fan made mods on my LAN at home with friends... and the multiplayer part of this game rocks... some of the mods are boring and poorly written, but others are awesome... written by very talented people... and it is D&D... the origional campaign has not been that great, but the concept and the scope of the game warrents more attention...

I started playing through the original campaign when the game first came out (summer 2002), but got bored with it. Then this past fall I reinstalled and started playing again thanks to the quality player made adventures. (I'm playing the Penultima series right now.) I have a new appreciation for the game.

The game is great but I'm taking a break from it. I've got all three expansions but haven't played any mp for a while.

Good... I am glad to see some people here enjoy CRPGs... and these can be fps games... It has driven me crazy at times seeing my Ti4200 do better than my modded 9500np... but with the expansion and latest NWN patch and ATI drivers, my ATI card has been doing a lot better...

I played through the original game back when it came out but I certainly wouldnt have called it fun. Recently, reviews for Hoardes of the Underdark are making want to purchase the two add-ons and get back into playing it.

What I wish they would have done is release new textures. They should have released 128MB textures along with the expansions.
