And the intel i7-2600k is not PCI-e 3.0 supported?

The i7-2xxx does not support PCI 3.0 but that doesn't' matter. PCI-e 3.0 and 2.0 are the same in gaming. PCI-e 3.0 isn't really utilized yet.

I bought my 2500k even though 3570k was available (PCI-e 3.0) but it didn't matter cuz estimates showed that I wouldn't be limited; rather I'd gain since I can overclock more so.
