Question Does B450 supports PCIE 4 with Ryzen 5000 series processors

I was planning to pair ryzen 5 5600x with MSI b450 pro vdh but i want to know does b450 supports pcie 4.0, I know b450 don't supports 5600x straight out of the box but i can download the bios in usb from my friend's computer, also, people on the internet have have been running 5600x with 4400mhz ram but what ram speeds can be expected from b450 motherboard
Lastly, i want to know which b450 is the best; msi b450 pro vdh, gigabyte b450 ds3h, gigabyte b450 s2h, asus b450- A II, asus b450-k II

Concerning RAM speed, no serious RAM brand does guarantee anything above 3200 MT/S on a B450 motherboard.
People of course managed to get higher, sometimes.
The beauty of the Internet is that you can brag about anything, even reaching 4400mhz; nobody can verify

No, only Gen 3 no matter what CPU you use.

Apparently early in Zen 3's life, you could use PCIe 4.0 on B450 boards that were basically overbuilt (so the more expensive ones). But AMD released an AGESA update that disabled this feature. So if you're lucky, you might find a board that wasn't flashed with the latest BIOS and still has a version that enables Zen 3 support but does not have that AGESA update.

I don't know what versions to look out for, so I can't help you find which ones, unfortunately.

EDIT: ASUS publicly stated they supported PCIe 4.0 on B450 boards at one point - https://www.tomshardware.com/news/asus-b450-x470-motherboards-pcie-4.0-support,39859.html . But note AMD said "no, don't do that."

Gen 3 is all AMD allows B450 to run with any generation CPU. There MAY be some hacked BIOS' for some boards that enables PCIE gen 4 but that's not really something to rely on. And in truth it not a noticeable benefit to performance anyway so not worth the trouble...or risk.

You'd only get 4400Mtps memory speed with any motherboard after a lot of really painful custom tweaking...and even then no guarantees. Ryzen 3000 and Ryzen 5000 CPU's are pretty reliable about hitting 3600Mtps by just enabling XMP and manually setting DIMM voltage with compatible memory on any AM4 motherboard running an updated BIOS.

None of those motherboards have a really great VRM but they should be adequate for a 5600X. Zen 3 really is amazingly power efficient when you avoid the mistake of attempting fixed all-core overclocking. I'd suggest looking at features and picking based on which you like most. Look especially at the number and type of USB ports on the back I/O plate and whether or not it has a heatsink on the VRM FET's.
