I want to get an UX200 Thermaltake ARGB cooler. My motherboard is going to be a GIGABYTE Z390 UD. I don't care about RGB sync or customizing the RGB, I just want a full "rainbow" colored CPU cooler to run at all times. Does the RGB work at all if I just plug in the 4-pin CPU power connector and forget about the 3-pin 5V connector the cooler has? Is it only for RGB customization/sync, or do I need it for the RGB to work at all?

Okay for anyone having the same question, RGB still works if you don't plug in the 5v RGB connector, you just can't control it.
