Does dell use cheap parts

For low end computers, all manufacturers use cheap parts; this includes Dell.

However, with reasonable maintenance and care, including updates, they do last a long time. I have 3 refurbished Dell desktops that are working quite well for over 2 years; 2 Optiplex, 1 Precision.
