[SOLVED] Does DisplayPort suffer underscan/overscan like the HDMI?

Just want to ask because I am using an old AOC monitor with 1366x768 resolution and upgraded to a chinese brand Nvision for 1080p experience since my rig can handle it yet, I was disappointed because I cannot fix the overscanning issue because whenever I try to fix the overscanning issue I always have this not so smooth experience even when just dragging a window here to there it doesn't seem fluid at all, so I ended up just selling the monitor itself to my brother for a cheap price since I can't handle it being overscanned since I can't even see the windows that are opened at all with the white lines belowthem. Which led me to think if the DisplayPort suffers from it too.

It is not a DisplayPort/HDMI issue, it's a matter of what the monitor decides to do with the image.
