Does dust really matter?

Hey guys, i was thinking of building a water-cooled rig with the dd torture rack.
(link[http://www.dangerden.com/store/popup_image.php?type=D&id=250&title=DD%20-%20Torture%20Rack&area=C])
My questions is, if there are no moving parts, nor heatsinks, to clog with dust, would there be any problems with an open air case?
Provided I clean it bi-monthly or so, I cant foresee any real issues.

Opinions/advice/facts would be much appreciated!

Solution
The problem with open to the air set ups is that well, they are open to the air,
theres no cooling airflow and the electrical field will just draw those particles to your rig like, well a magnet
if your ready to safely clean it maybe every week (depends where you live I guess)
then go for it,
I like the look of an open bench machine myself but due to three cats and very little space I couldn't feasibly do it :)
and it would only be a simple rig, no record-breaking O/c attempts hehe

Solution
I'm with jaguarskx on this, the time period will be slower than monthly never mind weekly. But if all f your posible air intakes have filters on them then you'll be fine.

I've run a server with an unfiltered fan, 6" off the ground with 5 cats for about 9 months, some dust when I changed case, but not a significant amount.

You welcome moto!

I decided that i need more protection for my system. And I just know scratches on the acrylic will kill me soooo im thinking of using a cm690 ii with 2x 240s and an external or something like that...
