Question Does every PSU have 2 8pin connectors?

I am a bit emberassed to ask this but here goes nothing..

So I am gonna be buying myself a new video card soon and I think it required 1 8pin connector or 1 8pin and 6pin. I bought my PSU before probably 3-4 years and am wondering, does every PSU come with those number of connectors or should I buy a new one?

Sorry if this is an incorrect question im just noobie.. Thanks for your answers in advance

I honestly don't have any idea lol.. Is there a way to check it when I get home? I only remeber its a 450 or 500W one..

A picture of the label on the side of the unit would be a decent start.
Otherwise, just follow each cable and see what you have.
