[SOLVED] Does it make sense to overclock the RAM if GPU is 100% loaded?

I have an RX570 4GB and a Ryzen 5 2600, DDR4 8x2 2400 MHz. Usually in all new games the GPU is 100% loaded and the CPU is less than 50% loaded. Will overclocked RAM lead to performance gains in this case?

Solution
Yes/no.

Cpu at 50% does not mean that you are ok on cpu power.
Be careful how you interpret task manager cpu utilizations.
Windows will spread the activity of a single thread over all available threads.
So, if you had a game that was single threaded and cpu bound, it would show up on a quad core processor as 25%
utilization across all 4 threads.
leading you to think your bottleneck was elsewhere.

Ryzen does respond well to faster ram.
If your ram spec is 2400, you might be able to oc some to good effect.
But ram vendors bin their chips and use the better ones which a can be sold at higher speeds.
No harm in trying.
