I'm new to pc building. For context, I have an MSI rx 5600xt gaming mx. The vbios for the rx 5600xt improves performance for the card. The two options being, download amd adrenaline, or just download the live updates from msi which has the vbios. Should I just download the amd adrenaline as an all in one since I've got a ryzen 5 2600x, and a asrock b450 steel legend. OR install everything individually from each manufacturer. (Asrock, Msi, Amd.) My question is-Does it matter? Is one better than the other? Do I need both? I guess my reasoning is that if I download each of them individual from each manufacturer, is that it might be a specific driver.

Solution
You are confusing vbios with GPU drivers. Vbios is released by manufacturer and most of the time you don't get more than 1-2 updates IF any.
Gpu drivers are released by AMD or Nvidia depending what you have. Drivers that are released from manufacturer are the ones that the manufacturer has tried and recommend but they tend to stay far behind the releases from AMD/Nvidia.

Ok. To be clear, my gpu didn't ship with the new vbios for the rx 5600xt. I download that, off msi for the gpu. Now this is because its different because I've got an rx 5600xt, Normally it would just be from amd. Then download the motherboard drivers from asrock. Then adrenaline for everything else, and from there adrenaline for recent updates.
