Does it matter which power cord i connect to my monitor ?

so i have 2 power cord that they look very much the same , only one has an L shape in the end of it and the other has a straight end

my monitor is Asus Vg278 and i forgot which one is for my monitor , so one of them could be for my old PSU


i was wondering does it matter which one i connect ? can it damage the monitor if i connect the wrong one ??

Regarding power cords use whichever one that fits and connects power. Makes no difference.

there is no real difference besides the physical shape.
the L shape is most often meant for tight spaces like behind wall mounted display/TV where straight plug would not fit.
