Does Lenovo w510 supports SATA3?

Hello,
I tried to figure out if my thinkpad w510 (mainboard lenovo 4389BB8 by CPU-Z) supports SATA3. Answer of Lenovo support was that this is not a accessible answer because they have no SATA3 HDD in their program. Thanks a lot in advance

If you mean can you add a SATA3 HDD then yes i'm sure you can but I don't think it will support the 6Gbps speed, but there isn't anything thats bottlenecked buy the SATA2 interface. You could ask lenovo what the specifications of the SATA interface are
